How You Will Make a Difference

• Cloud Strategy & Optimization

  • Recommend cloud strategies to optimize costs and improve the overall quality of the enterprise cloud environment
  • Evaluate and implement cloud strategies, including architecture design, secure cloud-based application development, and migration of workloads to public clouds
  • Provide recommendations for enhancing the performance and efficiency of current GCP setups

• Technical Leadership

  • Guide teams in developing well-architected data solutions optimized for cost, performance, reliability, and security
  • Act as a subject matter expert for building and migrating applications on Google Cloud Platform
  • Offer guidance to resolve deployment obstacles and improve GCP usage across teams

• Cost Optimization & Governance

  • Support the cloud optimization practice and make recommendations for cost savings and optimization strategies
  • Create reusable patterns for application development and modernize applications, providing governance around adoption

• Platform Analysis & Design

  • Architect and implement plans for deploying complex application workloads on Google Cloud Platform
  • Drive platform analysis, design, and roadmap development based on current and future states in line with best practices

  • Support the application development team with platform-specific project needs
  • Mentor and guide developers and architects in cloud architectures, modern programming languages, microservices, and container-based deployments

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform

  • Experience with Google Cloud Load Balancing, DNS, Interconnect, CDN, Compute, Networking, Storage, DR, Security, and Monitoring
  • Troubleshoot and determine root causes of customer issues, building tools for faster diagnosis

How You Add Even More Value

• Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science

• Software Languages Proficiency

  • Proficient in two or more languages such as Python, Java, Go, etc., for designing, coding, testing, and software delivery

• Cloud Architecture & Migration Expertise

  • Experience leading large-scale migrations to Google Cloud Platform
  • Knowledge of cloud design patterns, cloud operations, and cloud cost models, with experience in implementing best practices

• Certifications & Experience

  • Google Professional Cloud Architect certification highly preferred
  • 6+ years of experience leading complex Software Engineering and Architecture initiatives

• Agile & DevOps

  • Experience in Agile, DevOps, and secure coding practices
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical ideas in business-friendly language
