Power BI Developer III

Location: Jacksonville, Florida (Remote) | Overall Experience: 8 Years

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Management, or equivalent certifications).
5+ years of experience with scripting and data manipulation languages such as SQL and Python.
5+ years of proficiency in automating reporting, building visualizations, and administrative exposure in BI tools like IBM Cognos, Pyramid, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
3+ years of experience in data modeling within a business intelligence tool.

Technical Skills:

Proficient in relational databases, including design, structure, data associations, and query language.
Skilled in conducting root cause analysis and recommending corrections to data issues or exceptions.
Experience cross-examining multiple data sources to provide actionable insights and feedback.

Soft Skills:

Ability to build strong relationships with management and team members.
Capability to lead project work with minimal direction in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in triaging issues, identifying data abnormalities, and debugging software.
Adept at presenting findings in oral, written, and graphical forms.
Flexible and open to change.

Additional Responsibilities:

Plan, set clear direction, and coordinate tasks in a multi-disciplinary environment.
Mentor junior developers and data analysts.
