Responsibilities

• QA Integration Testing
  • Conduct QA integration testing on Order Executing applications to ensure high standards of quality are met
  • Create, execute, maintain, and enhance test documents and scripts
  • Perform detailed functional and regression tests
  • Report, record, and re-verify defects
  • Collaborate with business partners to identify and resolve issues

Required Skills

• Test Automation Expertise

  • 5-10 years of experience in Information Technology with expertise in test automation for service layer applications using REST clients
  • Hands-on experience in programming concepts such as OOPs with scripting languages like Java, Python, and JavaScript

• Automation Testing

  • Experience writing and maintaining automated API tests using Java, JavaScript, or Python with open-source libraries such as Cypress, REST Assured, etc.
  • Hands-on experience automating backend REST services, writing custom functions with tools such as Postman, REST Assured, Cypress, Ready API, etc.

• Database & Querying

  • Proficient in querying languages such as SQL (preferred), Oracle, MySQL, and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB, etc.)

• Continuous Integration

  • Experience with continuous integration tools like Jenkins, CircleCI
  • Ability to create and maintain automation test jobs using Jenkins

• Source Code Management

  • Hands-on experience with source code management tools such as GitLab, GitHub, AWS CodeCommit

• Test Reporting & Tools

  • Experience creating test reports from automated tests using tools such as Cucumber Report, Extent Report, etc.

• Service Virtualization & Agile Methodologies

  • Experience virtualizing services for test automation using tools like WireMock, Mockito
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks such as SCRUM, SAFe, XP, and experience working in distributed Agile teams

• Manual Testing

  • Strong manual functional testing skills, with knowledge of installation and configuration for setting up testing environments
